BACKGROUND
Born in South Carolina. Raised in Texas. Moved to Washington in 1985. Spent three years as a licensed real estate agent, primarily in commercial leasing. Spent two years with a development company, primarily developing office parks, golf course communities and residential subdivisions.

After graduating from the University of Washington and before attending law school, worked as a fishing guide out of Ucluelet, British Columbia, Canada.

Since 1993 to present, instructed Real Estate Law course for Washington real estate licensees' continuing education and prerequisite for Washington's Broker License.

Moved to Bellingham, Washington in the summer of 1994 and opened Shropshire Law Firm.
